The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Long Island, of Bethpage, NY mission is:

“We assist the poor and those in need of consolation, seeking out and utilizing every resource. Being mindful of the sanctity and dignity of all, any charitable work that advances those goals is within the mission of St. Vincent de Paul.”

The Society - Who Are We

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve. The Rockville Center Diocesan Council has been assisting Long Island families since 1945. Programs include services for the homeless, medical and dental care for the working poor, charity dining rooms, thrift stores, a transitional housing shelter and general assistance for individuals in need.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded in 1948 on Long Island and is comprised of over 1,100 Vincentian volunteers who provide direct assistance to needy individuals and families in Nassau and Suffolk County.
